Double up on the spice in your next chai brewing session! 1x Jar of our Masala Chai Honey and 50 gms of our Masala Chai loose leaf tea
On one of trips to India, my brother introduced me to this wonderfully strong (“karak”) blend of black tea leaves with a whole lot of natural goodness. Packing a punch with flavour, strength – with all the health benefits to boost!
With Ashwagandha (for helping the body deal with stress), Mulethi (licorice root – to help soothe the throat), Tulsi (Holy Indian basil – to help build your body’s resistance & natural immunity), Elaichi (Green Cardamom – to help in digestion) and Adrakh (Ginger – to combat the cold & cough bugs).
This has also helped considerably with my hay-fever at this time of the year, and I love the strong flavours!
Use 1tsp for a cup of tea. Add the leaves at the onset, in a saucepan with cold water. Bring to a rolling boil, add milk of choice. Simmer for another couple of minutes, stirring occasionally. Add sweetener of choice.
